Weekend Happenings: St. Patrick’s Day Edition

St. Patrick's Day

This weekend we’re hoping hoping you get lucky… and find the pot of gold at the end of the rain! (Since we’re not entirely sure there’s a bow.)

Happening this week:

  • Saturday March 17th, also known as the day of St. Patrick, continues Red Cap Garage’s Best Year Ever. The second installment of the venue’s attempt to ensure that 2012 goes out with a bang will take place from 9pm to 2am, so you can dance off your end-of-the-world pants off. As long as the rapture doesn’t come prematurely, Red Cap will serve special guests, hot decor, sweet treats and sick beats.
  • Jump on it! The Cascade AIDS Project has formed its own cycling team to help fight HIV and AIDS in the Seattle-to-Portland Bike Ride. Work your glutes and your commitment with this 204-mile ride while building community, awareness and fundraising efforts. The Sunday March 18th Ride4CAP training ride starts at 10am at Holladay Park
  • I feel pretty and witty… Reed College presents The Young Person’s Guide to the Gay Men’s Chorus. Watch as students in the Gay/Straight Alliance at Truman High take a field trip to the PGMC Spring Concert and overcome inner angst and interpersonal drama through the memorable songs of the gay choral movement. Tickets are available now for both Saturday and Sunday shows.
